Dr. Gardner is a graduate of University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Vanderbilt University and subsequently obtained his fellowship training in endocrinology at the University of Florida. After serving on the faculty of the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Dr. Gardner began his private practice in endocrinology in 1986. Dr. Gardner is the Chair of the Medical Advisory Board of the Biopharma Informatics clinical research organization. He is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology and is a member of the Endocrine Society and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
