Dr. Varughese is the newest member of our medical staff. Dr. Varughese grew up in Houston where she was a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Houston Baptist University. She completed a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Texas school of Public Health in Houston prior to obtaining her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Following residency training at the Corpus Christi Medical Center, Dr. Varughese completed her endocrine fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She is board certified in endocrinology and internal medicine.

Dr. Varughese’s primary interest is in diabetes mellitus, but she enjoys working in all of the subdisciplines of endocrinology. While devoted to her work and her family, she also enjoys classical South Indian dance (Bharatanatyam), music and travel. We know that you will enjoy seeing this outstanding young physician.
